Kemp Street, Brighton
Kemp Street - A photographic montage of a terraced street in Brighton, England.
This forms part of a series called 'Where houses meet' which looks at colourfully painted streets, specifically the points where the different houses join together. I was interested in how these colourful streets develop, and whether the colour scheme which I assumed to be picked without consultation of all of the neighbours, would work as a whole. I systematically shot each house in order, working my way up the hill on one side before returning down the other. I then placed the pictures in order into a grid to create an abstract overview of the street.
This is a signed archival pigment print on 300gsm matte cotton rag paper. Each print is produced to order. The photograph is supplied without a frame, the pictured frame is for display only. It is available in a number of sizes, if you don't see one listed that you want, please let me know.
