Bo'Kaap, Cape Town

from £95.00

Bo'Kaap, Cape Town - A photographic montage of a terraced houses in South Africa

This forms part of a series called 'Where houses meet' which looks at colourfully painted streets, specifically the points where the different houses join together. I was interested in how these colourful streets develop, and whether the colour scheme which I assumed to be picked without consultation of all of the neighbours, would work as a whole. On a trip to work trip to Cape Town, I managed to slip in an hour or two wandering these famously painted streets and adding this to my project.

This is a signed archival pigment print on 300gsm matte cotton rag paper. Each print is produced to order. The photograph is supplied without a frame, the pictured frame is for display only. It is available in a number of sizes, if you don't see one listed that you want, please let me know.
