Hoi An Incense - A photographic montage of incense offerings in Hội An, Vietnam

In Vietnam, the smoke of the incense sticks is considered as a sacred bridge between the visible life of human beings and the spiritual life of earth, heaven and gods. It helps connecting the world of the living and the one of the deceased (or spirits). Hội An seemed to have more of these offerings than other places we visited, the smell filled the brightly coloured streets.

This is a signed archival pigment print on 300gsm matte cotton rag paper. Each print is produced to order. The photograph is supplied without a frame, the pictured frame is for display only. It is available in a number of sizes, if you don't see one listed that you want, please let me know.
