Buoys, Buoys, Buoys
Buoys, Buoys, Buoys - a photographic montage of multicoloured buoys in St. Ives harbour
I photographed these buoys during a low tide one winter (in summer the harbour would be full of holiday makers). It was interesting to find out how many different variations of design and colour there were. I shot each buoy separately, making sure that it was the same size and position in camera and, once processed, arranged them into a grid on the page. It was only when putting the composition together that I realised there was a full rainbow of colours.
This is a signed archival pigment print on 300gsm matte cotton rag paper. Each print
is produced to order. The photograph is supplied without a frame, the pictured frame is for display only. It is available in a number of sizes, if you don't see one listed that you want, please let me know.
